Great web designs have personality. Think about a website as a human being.  The content on each website is like their personality.  What you post describes who you are.  Most websites are designed to function like an individual, while still being able to be used by a multitude of people and blend into the crowd.  Just like a human a good website must be unique as well as function properly in society.

Web design is a crucial part to any company’s profitability. Web design is the creation of a digital environment that facilitates human activity online.

Web design is not something that comes easily to most people.  Web designers spend years honing their craft at school and then in the real world.  Your job, as a web designer, is to take the conventional and common and make pages that are distinctive, natural, brand appropriate, memorable, subtly unique, and engaging.

If you can achieve all of this, your work will be beautiful and functional. Not everyone will notice or appreciate the beauty or elegance of your design, but those with a discerning eye will acknowledge and commend your work.
